I have tried and tried to reach the Fresno CA SSA office on Locust street. When I call the system, it places me in queue for an agent. I wait on hold for 20 to 30 minutes. When the system finally puts me through, supposedly, the phone just rings and rings.

When I did get through on the phone they are very busy but tried very hard to help me and the Mail correspondence was very prompt. Thank You for your help.

Nesesito la tarjeta de seguro cómo puedo hacer para sacarla ya que no me ha llegado?

Fresno office is the worst service. They refused to schedule an appointment, but they can't provide a proper service over the phone. David suppose to help people, but instead he made it more stressful and dropped a phone call several times without providing the service. I am not sure who I need to complain about it and how to resolve my situation as it is very critical for my relative..

James was VERY patient with me despite my reactive and rude behavior... and frustration at not being able to enroll in Medicare Part B (began trying to accomplish this in December of 2019!) Thank you, James!

  7. Mar 30, 2021

I've called to the office twice and nobody answered.

  8. Mar 23, 2021

Where is my replacement card. Read these reviews because y'all need to improve your services.

  9. Mar 9, 2021

I have been calling your office for over a month and every time i get through its just silence for over 5 mins then it hangs up no answers the call. I just need to give you people my new address and check on the status of my appeal for my daughters SSI. Why can't I make an appointment, why can't I talk to anyone? I can never get through. This is so stressful.

I am thoroughly disgusted at the service of this Fresno branch. It does not even deserve 1 full star. I have called 3 Times, waited on hold , spoke to someone briefly then I got cut off EVERY time. What is wrong? and no, my question can not be answered via the website. By the way same thing with regular Social Security—cut off every time I call.

I have mailed the proper attachments and pricing receipts that explain my need for funds to be deposited into my bank account from my social security back pay benefits that you are withholding. I was told that once the proper attachments and my explanation of a dental crown and necessities for furniture, dining table, dresser , pots and pans, silverware, plates, cups etc... that you would release my funds and make a deposit. I know your all busy but the Mail I sent to you was sent 2 months ago.

  12. Feb 15, 2021

I called 2 different offices, talked to 3 different people, because it had been over a month since I sent in my application. The 3rd people was just flat out rude when I was trying to explain the situation, before saying I was just gonna have to do my application for a replacement card all over again. So here I am 2 MONTHS LATER, still trying to get my card.

  13. Feb 11, 2021

I have been trying to get a hold of someone. I have called, left messages, and called again multiple times. It seems the SSI office is not working or operating at this time? Why have every attempt to get a hold of someone been futile? No one will call back, no one will pick up! Please check on your workers because it is very frustrating when we cannot get a hold of anyone from your office.

  14. Feb 11, 2021

Called many times. Waited on phone many times. Couple times I can hear people voices right before the hang up. Few times you can hear someone pick up the phone and hangs up. So I know someone is there. This pandemic, no one can make complain, can't do anything, yet they get PAID anyways just hanging up.

Ms. Ferrazano helped my parents apply for SS and was patient and answered all their questions. Thank you Ms. Ferrazano for your kindness!!

  19. Nov 10, 2020

I need a social security number vertication letter n have call many time s n they keep sending everything but the letter I need

  20. Nov 10, 2020

Ok, second try. Still had to listen to all the messages about COLA and Covid, that have nothing to do with actually making an appointment, before I could even get to the automated guy who asks a bunch of questions, and even though I was JUST trying to make an appointment, I've now been on hold for almost 10 minutes. I bet it will eventually be much longer, but at least this time there is some recorded 'music' to let me know that the call is still connected. I guess I can hope...

  21. Nov 10, 2020

I have been trying for over 2 hours to get through to someone to try to make an appointment for my son to go into an office to get help with getting a duplicate social card. I have been trying online and by phone. The recordings on the phone don't give correct website information. They give web addresses that don't exist. I called the phone number listed here under item number 2. 'How to make an appointment' Call 1-800-772-1213 and after responding to all the questions from the automated recording I was finally (after 5 minutes) transferred to a line where I was supposed to be able to talk to a real person, and there was no sound, and after a full minute holding, the call was disconnected. I'm now going to try again. But it doesn't make sense to me why I had to go through all those questions when I was calling the number to make an appointment. The recordings on the phone calls say that they are only taking care of things by appointment so why is it so hard to make an appointment?

  22. Nov 2, 2020

No one is answering the phones...ever!

  23. Oct 21, 2020

Now that I turn 70. I want to know if I’m going to receive the full retired benefit? Do I need a appointment or could I do this online?

  24. Oct 21, 2020

I spoke with Loretta this afternoon, and I am in awe of how wonderful she was. She was so kind, helpful, and simply a pleasure to talk to. I'm going through the SSDI process for the first time and I am all sorts of confused, but she was understanding, patient, and like I said before, just wonderful. I don't remember the last time I spoke with someone over the phone with a federal department who wasn't grumpy or rude, especially in these crazy times we're in. There needs to be more like Loretta. And she needs a raise. She was amazing. Thank you!

I need a first time social security card for my 2 kids. We came to America in January 2020 and my husband and I got ours but the kids never got theirs. I waited because I thought it would come in the mail perhaps but never did and then Corona happened and everything closed. I called and they were supposed to determine if they would give me an appointment in person. They never called me back. Not sure what to do other than wait.

I waited 2.5 hours, after check-in with the a worker.Didn't get called and everyone that came in after me was being helped. 2 hours in I ask security if there was someone I could check with, to see if I had been forgotten about? He said, while watching the other security guard's phone and laughing at what they were watching phone, they will call you. No one was in the waiting room, but me. I waited almost another 30 minutes. Finally, they called someone else. She wasn't there, but he thought I was her. Calling me by her name, he said, they have called you and you can go back now. I was fuming and said nothing and continued to sit there. He said didn't you hear me and I said yes I did. Silence. He said, go back then. I said that is not my name. Oh. He walked back to where there they were calling people. Came right back out and said, what is your name? I told him, he went back again came back out and told me what window to go to. It is 5:30. A very nice worker stayed to help me and found out I had not been checked-in! I told him what window I had checked in at. He's checking his computer and cannot find me. He didn't check you in properly. Now, I'm really fuming. He helped me with my first issue, but said I would have to come back. The dept. that handles my second issue, goes home at 4:30. Really fuming now, he made me an apt. 10 days later. That was their soonest or I could come back and wait again to be seen. I decided on the appt. The gentleman was very kind and had stayed, after everyone had gone home, including the security guards. I didn't take my unhappiness at the situation out on him. It wasn't his fault and he stayed to help me. Today, is my appt. My car is in the shop. It w0as suppose to be done and delivered to me, but, there was a problem and my car is not ready. Murphy's Law. I called to cancel my appt, only to find out, 40 minute wait on the phone or 55 minutes for a call back. Good grief!!! As I am waiting for my call back, which I shouldn't be in this predicament, I decided to tell my story. This happened at the Social Security office on Locust Ave, Fresno, Ca. Moral of story, double check with worker to make sure, it has been done properly. Sorry for the length of this review.
