Today was not the day to call... I've had nothing but courteous and helpful reps when I've previously called the Social Security office, however, TODAY WAS NOT THE DAY. The rep wanted to ensure I was reminded that we are currently in a pandemic, which I am clearly aware of and one of the reasons I was reaching out for assistance. She also said 'I don't want you to think I am treating you any type of way' which is clearly stating I AM TREATING YOU SOME TYPE OF WAY. So disheartening to say the least. My questions were still not answered so now I'm stuck on hold once again. Hoping to get a more helpful and patient representative. Good day.

07/02/2020 I called regarding getting an urgent payment of my Social Security Benefits due to an error of the main Social Social Security Administration in Baltimore, Maryland. My benefits were not direct deposited into my US Bank account on 07/02/2020 as was supposed to be the case. The attendant said that I need to wait until my benefits are direct deposited into my old Chase Bank Account and then have them sent back to the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, Maryland. The Social Security in Garden Grove can then give me an urgent payment of my Social Security Benefits. They did not give me any assistance on what to do in the meantime to pay my urgent due bills. That was a problem, I thought they took a little extra long. There was no clue in how they could help me out. I will contact the Assistance programs in Orange County, Ca. I hope things turn out for the best.

Poor service technicians answering phone apparently have no clue how to help. I waited hours at garden grove office and had to set up an online account then about a year later get an email to do my annual checkup of the account . Of course there is a problem and I cannot access my account so I call wait over an hour to end up having my so called help cancel my account so I can get it hooked up with my phone. Of course that does not work. I call again wait forever to get someone whom doesn’t know sht. Then the third time I call and wait again to be told the first person didn’t handle the situation correctly and never should have canceled the account and the problem is with a credit monitoring of my credit and I should go back to the same office to have help. Fo Social security your are a waste of time and in my opinion thieves

WAIT TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ON THE PHONE IS AN HOUR RIGHT NOW. I CAN WALK TO THE SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE AND BACK IN LESS TIME. WHAT USE IS A SERVICE I AM UNABLE TO ACCESS WITHOUT SETTING ASIDE AT LEAST HALF OR A WHOLE DAY? NONE. IT IS EASIER FOR ME TO GO DOWN TO THE GARDEN GROVE OFFICE FROM WHERE I LIVE THAN USE YOUR USELESS PHONE SERVICE. GOD FORBID THEY DON'T TELL ME TO GO BACK HOME AND USE YOUR NUMBER TO ENROLL FOR MEDICARE. 657-251 2700
