I called because I was hoping they were open. My husband just passed away and unfortunately if you don’t start making calls and taking care of finances you just might starve. But I know that my Lacomb office is filled with warm understanding heart felt workers who will make sure every t crossed and every I dotted. So I’m gonna be ok.

For everyone asking questions here, you can go to the social security website and create an account to get a new SS card, it will take 4-6 weeks to receive a new one. You can do a lot through the website as well.

I recently came back to Louisiana and I’m in need of financial help. I have no income right now and I am living with a friend until I can find an assisted living facility. Please let me know where I have to go to apply for SSDisablity benefits. There are so many different pages online I am confused which one I should use. Thank You for your help. Heather Ahner.
