Every time I call its a long hold and phone hangs up. Someone even picked up the phone waited about a 2 mins I could hear them moving around and then hung up. My sons paper work is just sitting on a desk for over a year just to be completed. Absolutely terrible

  2. Jan 21, 2022

I have never waited longer than 5 minutes, if that long, for them to answer the phone. They took care of my concerns and answered my questions right away. Thank you so much!

I’ve been calling and calling for about 7 months . No one answers the phone . Matter of fact I’m on. The phone and it’s been ringing for 30 mins

  4. Dec 10, 2021

Been trying to contact them by phone for over a month, they put me on hold 15-20 minutes and then state HELPING OTHER PEOPLE, no worker available, try again later.

  5. Dec 2, 2021

I’ve been calling for a month, right at 9am and the phone rings for a few mins, then it seems like someone is going to pick up and I get hung up on. I had to call Georgetown location and escalate to supervisor to send a message to them to give me a call … we will see if I get that call to schedule an appointment.

I called on 6/9/2021 and stayed on hold for 10 min. and 48 sec. A young lady (No Name) picked up the phone and I explained to her that I just turn 65 and wanted to make an appointment to get a handle on my next step to retiring, she hung up.

  10. May 21, 2021

I have been calling literally all week and I have left messages and someone picks up the call and hangs up. I need to talk to someone! Does anyone work at this office?

  11. Mar 4, 2021

I have called all day it's like someone picks up and never answers then hangs up.

  12. Mar 1, 2021

We have called, mailed letters answering what you say you need and you still refuse to give a card AND refuses to pay social security funds. WHY? I want an appointment as this is the only way to correct whatever you are asking. YOU do not want to pay him his social security funds BUT he paid you for over 60 years.

  13. Jan 30, 2021

I sent in my driver's license, divorce decree and application, all with the correct spelling of my last name. I just received a letter saying my card will be on its way, but my last name is spelled incorrectly. Why must I send so much verification if it is just going to be ignored anyways?

  14. Jan 14, 2021

I have written 6 letters and can not get help. I want to know what else you need in order for me to replace my social security card. I have filled out 6 forms requesting another card with my social security number. And so far I have not received a card or payment. Again: I have answered all questions you have asked. Why?

  15. Jan 12, 2021

I received a letter today 1/12/2021 from social security office asking for accurate address. The letter says the payment has been returned which does NOT make any sense because I have supplied the accurate address and the payments has been made for the month of Nov. in direct deposit.. The listed phone 1-800-772-1213 is NOT functioning at all so I can NOT make any appointment, leave a number for return call. What is happening?

How do I get a copy social security card. On the internet companies advertise to get a card but the first thing they ask is for your full social security number?
