How do I get a replacement card?

  2. Jun 12, 2023

They never answer the phone and they never call you when their suppose too, can never get thru to an actual person.

  3. Apr 3, 2023

They don’t do their jobs, no one can get through to anybody at the social security office, not on the phone, online or in the office.

  4. Mar 9, 2023

Went to follow up on a appeal. The system say I make to much for my sons disability benefit. I was checking on the appeal and speaking to the employee after waiting an hour in the office. Employee said so you think it’s our job to be responsible for your son? I had to say thank you and walk away to keep composure, that was rude and very unprofessional. Never again

  5. Mar 6, 2023

I have nothing good to say about this location, you cannot get them on the phone it redirects you to Oklahoma City office or whatever office that chooses to at the time and then they have no clue what you're talking about because Tulsa has all the information so they tell you to call the Tulsa office and you can't cuz it redirects you to back to them. You can't go down there if you have no car and when you possibly get down there it takes you all day to sit in that office.

  6. Sep 28, 2022

This is ridiculous. I’ve been trying to get an appointment for months. Nobody is at the Tulsa location. Only Enid is open. Why are you guys not open? Covid is over basically. This is just sheer laziness.

  7. Jul 5, 2022

Always gotten good service at the social security office, good services online and the 1-800 number. I don't ever have trouble getting through, I might have to wait a little while but that's okay but usually I get right through.

  8. Jul 1, 2022

I need a survivor meeting to start benefits.

  9. May 6, 2022

When my RV was stolen 4 years ago my social security card was in it but I didn't need it until now I needed to get married and also to get a different contract with my new words and a passport so I need to get another card, how do I get a replacement card. Can I get an application sent to me or what how do I do that?

  10. Apr 4, 2022

I have been trying to call this office for a while now, I just moved to Oklahoma, I’ve been need to get over to the office so I can transfer everything over to Oklahoma.

  11. Mar 29, 2022

Tulsa, Oklahoma office-can you make an appointment online or do you have to call and make an appointment.

  12. Mar 29, 2022

Have tried for four days, calling at different times during the day. On hold for hour, not the 15 minutes the recording says.

  13. Mar 18, 2022

I called to get a copy of my sisters SSA-1099-SM. She passed away. I was on the phone for 26 minutes total. I was transferred to a representative but no one ever picked up after it probably rang 30 or more times. Service was not good. I would have appreciated if someone would have just picked up the phone and let me know there was a person there.

  14. Mar 2, 2022

I call 3 different days in a roll on hold for over 3 hours each time I called; would be so much my easier if the people would go back to work in the office.

  15. Feb 22, 2022

My son is 10 months old and we have been trying to get his social security card since birth. We finally got a hold of someone and they told us to re-apply. Seriously how many times do we have to re-apply, get our documents back saying the card should arrive within 2 weeks... IT NEVER SHOWS UP. Now no one answers the Tulsa office. So frustrating.

  16. Feb 8, 2022

I had an appointment where they told me my social security card should be arriving within a week and a half. It still has not arrived yet.

  17. Dec 17, 2021

I’m trying to correct my last name on my social because it never got changed to the last name I have on my birth certificate. I haven’t gotten to talk to a rep because I’m on hold for 30+ minutes.

  18. Dec 3, 2021

20 min on hold; less than 2 min w rep who essentially just hung up. ZERO manners or helpful attitude. Wanting a replacement card, Said thru mail ONLY way & mail ACTUAL ID or DL NO copies of. When asked if I understood properly, she was gone.

  19. Nov 24, 2021

I would like an appointment but nobody answers, the Tulsa OFFICE.

  20. Nov 19, 2021

I am needing a replacement SS card to verify identity for my back pay. Do I really have to leave me only state ID in an envelope and drop it at your office for over two weeks?

  21. Nov 17, 2021

I need to get a replacement SSA ID card. I lost my wallet last week, in which I carried my SSA card. Where and how to I get a replacement ?

  22. Nov 15, 2021

The time frame for SS is ridiculous. I need help with filing for spousal benefits to help pay bills but i've tried for over a month on a daily basis & all i get are recordings.

  23. Nov 5, 2021

Always give me the most courteous assistance with anything I need! Very professional and helpful staff.

  24. Sep 7, 2021

I previously wrote a nasty review about this office and as soon as I hit submit my call was answered by the nicest representative. She was very helpful and kind and I just couldn't be mad about this anymore. I'm sorry for the bad review, I can't take it back, but she was worth waiting 40 minutes for.

  25. Sep 3, 2021

I would like too get a replacement SSI card so I can apply for SSI benefits

  26. Sep 1, 2021

I’ve sent two applications in and even wrote a note explaining why I need my name changed and why I don’t withhold a state ID which is because of my social security card not being correct and still yet they keep rejecting my applications.

  27. Jul 26, 2021

I have called numerous times for a specific form to keep my kids benefits active….he is currently sitting with no money right before school is going to start because someone can’t get a form in the mail…..this is ridiculous, there needs to be a specific caseworker with a specific extension instead of numerous people trying to tell me what’s going on….

  28. Jul 26, 2021

I am waiting on my medicare part B card. I am retiring the end of July and need to get my card. I have faxed the paperwork two different times.

  29. Jun 21, 2021

I was wondering if the Tulsa office is open, I need to get replacement cards for my whole family they got lost.

  30. Jun 11, 2021

What is taking so long? Been almost 2 months!

  31. Jun 8, 2021

Called and called. Horrible electronic noises come over the phone, people almost never answer. When they do, they hang up immediately (or the call drops). There's literally no way to make an appointment.

  32. Jun 5, 2021

Even though I have repeatedly called during open hours of operation no one will answer in order for me to make an appointment. I have been trying to get my replacement social security card since last year when it was stolen. Since I am in Tulsa this week I thought I might get an appointment as there is no office at my home town. I think you people could try a little harder to serve the public.

  33. May 25, 2021

Ive been sitting on phone almost a hour and then i get hung up on.

  34. May 12, 2021

Called three times waited on phone then would get disconnected then when finally got someone they closed at 4:05 and disconnected us while waiting on a answer they sent whole I'd and social to wrong address then they wanna argue like I put wrong address down. Aggravating.

  35. May 12, 2021

So it took my child 3 year to get approve for ssi benefits through a judge at a hearing she has not received a full check yet,I’ve file complaints and have no results it’s like they make things super difficult so that you can give up and they will not have to pay which is some bull if it’s ordered by the court that should be the end of it, but nope, and then have the nerves to get attitudes when you call and tell them that you would like to file a complaint, they are so rude, maybe being rude is part of the training to be employed with SSI (Tulsa)I’m going to hang in there for my childs sake.

  36. May 11, 2021

  47. Feb 9, 2021

Called and waited for 17 minutes for him to HANG UP IN ME. Horrible customer service. Someone seriously needs to do something about this. They are so hateful every time. At least someone answered this time. What a joke.

  48. Jan 29, 2021

I set on hold for over 15 minutes, a man answered and then hung up on me. UGH!

  49. Jan 29, 2021

I have been dialing for 3 months to request an appointment but nobody answers and I really need an appointment because I need to replace my social security number

  50. Jan 25, 2021

Worst service ever I've be trying the last four months to get someone to talk to me every time a male answers the line.

  51. Jan 19, 2021

I spoke with someone on the phone today who was VERY rude. It seems that when asking general questions to help a client that desperately needs a new social security card in order to get housing (she's on SSI and in a hotel very temporarily because her house burned), your employee felt the need to laugh and treat me as if I were stupid. No wonder your agency has a bad reputation. You should treat everyone with the respect. I understand you have many people on hold but I held for a long time to ask a few simple questions and you hung up on me. That is absolutely unethical.

  52. Jan 6, 2021

Is their a drop box in Tulsa to drop of application and Id to get a replacement card ? Do I need to send a envelope with a stamp to get id back

  53. Jan 5, 2021

I have called the 800-772-1213 three times, on hold for 30 to 45 minutes, then hung up on each time. The other phone # that is suggested to call is enabled, so don't waste your time calling. I was informed that I will need to call to schedule an appointment. However, how can you proceed with the process when your call is not being answered?

We just rec'd a recorded call from a M. Horrocks identifying the caller as being with the Social Security Administration and stating the reason for the call was notification of my husband's SSA account being suspended. I hung up at his point. The number, 1-918-865-6151, is a landline in Mannford, Ok. I don't expect you to do anything. I just wanted to let someone know that the scammers are out again.

  64. Sep 15, 2020

Needed to sched a in person appointment (in Tulsa) to obtain my son's SSC in order to qualify for some housing assistance. I was told that they are not allowing anyone in the office and that I would have to mail his shot records, my actual physical Drivers ID in the mail along with paperwork that has my SS# on it and my sons. Who in their right mind would send their physical ID with a paper stating their SS# on it? Why have the automated answer machine state they are doing ' by appt only' but then be rudely informed that they are not seeing anyone.
