The Waukegan office is horrible, they never get your paperwork or calculations correct so good luck working with them every month just to get your benefits the way your supposed to!

I have tried eight time to contact this office. After holding for 18 min or so the phone begins to ring then hangs up. Very frustrating.

Customer service is terrible. I can't believe our taxes go towards these people who are leeching off hardworking Americans. I've been waiting for a month for an update. My calls are never answered (except for the one time I had a condescending woman speaking on the other line).

4/1/21 Your employees were fine. Your federal agent guard needs to be removed. He verbally assaulted me because he didn’t look at the list of appointments when I said what I was there for (returning someone else’s PRIVATE INFORMATION THAT WAS SENT TO ME). He continued to berate me, I assume because he realized I was right and needed to make-up for it. His attitude is the exact reason people are afraid of law enforcement. He went straight to a cocky attitude and demeaning language without so much as looking at the list of people who were supposed to be there. Two unacceptable things occurred here; receiving someone else’s personal information, and your officer failing to do his job while also being incredibly hostile. I hope this finds the correct authority to address needless hostility and horrendous mistakes being made.

I have called your office twice to ask a clarifying question about changing my name after getting married. My question was in regards to the specific documents needed (to be mailed) in order to make this change. BOTH TIMES the representative interrupted me, was sarcastic and demeaning, and this time, she hung up the phone. I STILL don't have a clear answer about what I need to mail because both times I was talked down to for not knowing the answer, and this time the person hung up. I understand that things are stressful right now, and I can't imagine working in your office and dealing with calls all day. However, a small bit of kindness, not to mention professionalism, should absolutely be a part of every customer service interaction. Is there a way that I might speak to a professional who can answer my question? Thank you.

I was trying to cancel my appointment for today (October 28, 2019 @ 2:30. I was told I had to wait 50 minutes for an operator to assist me. I just wanted to cancel to reschedule. I am a teacher and could not secure a substitute teacher for half a day. I apologize for any inconvenience. No simple way to do this. Thanks!

This office made me send in my passport to get my name changed after marriage (which I later learned was not necessary and a complete lie). They then lost my passport and have still not sent it back to me. I need my passport ASAP for an international trip and yet they have not cared enough to send it, although I have called every 2 weeks and they said they would send it right away. People at this office are completely unprofessional and cannot even give correct directives or information about simple matters. I am extremely disappointed that they would lose such an important item of mine.
