Went to your office with a copy of marriage license you requested, you wanted an original to view so you can verify a true copy, I was turned away by the rent a cop saying I could not come in. Yet 5 other people were helped to apply for SS cards.

I submitted my court paperwork due to a name change. I got my new social security card, but my original court paperwork was not mailed back to me. I've called 4 times now and no one can provide an answer as to where my documents are at. At this point, can they provide me monetary funds so that I can go get the original court paperwork again?

my grandson and I called to make an appointment to change his last name on his social security card and was told we would have to mail all the info in that they are not doing appointments. At the cost of the documents that have to be sent in and no guarantee that we would get them back. We were told that he most likely he will not get his court papers back. why is this office not doing appointments?

Typical Feds nothing works right, Wait time over 40 minutes can not log on to open an account then it tells me it is blocked electronically and I have not even gotten in What a mess

  22. Mar 20, 2018

It is so difficult to get to someone who can actually help you! I waited in line, got my time with the SS agent, and he assured me that I would now be able to make a My Social Security account on line. But I am still blocked. It is so frustrating. I would do all this online if I was able, without bothering them. And I have to wait long again and again to try to resolve things. I think they are hoping citizens will just get discouraged and not bother. But didn't we work for this money? It belongs to us, not the government. Managerial issues here, I think!

  23. Feb 22, 2018

How in the name of ========== can you make an appointment with an 1 1/2 hour hold time???????????

  24. Sep 15, 2014

Seeing as it takes over 49 minutes (I hung up at 49minutes)to talk to anyone on the toll free number, it would be greatly appreciated if there was a number to call at the local office . . I have a procedural question; can I and what is the process of deducting federal income tax from monthly benefits? I saw no opportunity to ask that question online and had no more time to waste on hold.. Thank you. Nancy barnes
