    I was on hold for quite a while, but once they answered my call she got all the answers she needed to make sure and verify it was the right person calling!!An she did her job,and is sending my paperwork out ASAP!!     Llevo ya dos semanas llamando a la oficina del seguro social en cherry hill nj y me cuelgan o me dejan mas de dos horas esperando por una atencion al cliente hoy llamo para solicitar una cita y no me contestan entonces para que ahi teléfono si no contestan y para el colmo no te dejan entrar a las oficinas sin una cita me urge por que es algo con respecto al caso de mi hijo q para mi es muy importante.

    Either you need to hire more people or have your employees actually do your job. I’ve been calling all day and everyone is magically busy. I have been on hold for 2 Hrs and 30 minutes and nobody answered. That is very disrespectful. Worst social security office ever. Nobody should be that busy

SSI makes monthly payments to people who have low income and few resources and are:

How long will it take to get a Social Security card?

What is SSI (Supplemental Security Income)?
SSI provides monthly payments to adults and children who have low income, few resources, and who are blind or disabled. SSI also provides monthly payments to people age 65 and older with limited income and resources, who are not blind or disabled.
How Much Can You Get from SSI?
The basic monthly federal amount for 2021 is the same nationwide:
$794 for one person, or
$1,191 for a couple



Not everyone gets the same amount. You may get more if you live in a state that adds money to the federal SSI payment. On the other hand, you may get less if you have other income such as wages, pensions, or Social Security benefits. You may also get less if someone pays your household expenses. You may also get less if you live with a spouse and he or she has income.
