    I've been having a lot of problems with rego Park they have messed up my case so many times. I've sent so many paperwork to them. I've done so many phone calls for them and they keep screwing up my case. I am about to lose my phone service I cannot pay my rent because my ssi is on suspension but I've already had two phone conversations. I've already filled out paperwork and I've already sent a letter and I've already sent proof two different times of where I live. I don't even want rego Park on my case, I want to change it because I don't trust these people and I don't like how they keep making mistakes and never really return my calls or contact me.

    I am my mother's representative payee. I have tried to reinstate my mom's benefit to no avail. I sent everything they told me to send twice and I spoke to so many people and I have left messages to Mr. K three times and I never ever got any calls from any of them. I have no blocks on my phone but their excuse is you should remove the blocks and all of that. But there is no block on my phone and I answer my calls even if it's a scam likely call. I have been trying to reinstate her benefit for quite a while. I faxed everything that was told to me to fax and nothing. This is not my fault if I do what I am supposed to do and your workers don't do what they are supposed to do. Now I am hearing that I will have to put in a new application. Your office kept giving me the runaround and never called me. So I would like my mother's benefits to be reinstated now. My mom is a very ill person and she needs her benefits to pay for her rent and her light and personal stuff. My mom is 80 years old and has dementia. So please help out and not continue to make this so difficult for my mom to receive the benefits she needs right now.

    I need Russian translator because my English is not fluent. Somebody call me for several monthes, says that from ss and somebody is going to use my social security number and recomends to press 1 on my phone. I did not do it. But today this person called and said that my ss is suspended and I must call Phon# , but I remember just 4 last numbers 7024. What to do?

SSI makes monthly payments to people who have low income and few resources and are:
Age 65 or older;
Blind; or

Parents or guardians usually can apply for blind or disabled children under age 18. In some cases, other third parties can apply for children.

You should bring certain items when you apply. Even if you do not have all of the things listed below, apply anyway. The people in the Social Security office can help you get whatever is needed.
Please bring:
- Your Social Security card or a record of your Social Security number;
- Your birth certificate or other proof of your age;

How long will it take to get a Social Security card?
The Social Security Administration will mail your Social Security card as soon as they have all of the necessary information and have verified the appropriate documents. Generally, you will get your card within 10 business days from the date on your receipt.

What is SSI (Supplemental Security Income)?
SSI provides monthly payments to adults and children who have low income, few resources, and who are blind or disabled. SSI also provides monthly payments to people age 65 and older with limited income and resources, who are not blind or disabled.
How Much Can You Get from SSI?
The basic monthly federal amount for 2021 is the same nationwide:
$794 for one person, or
$1,191 for a couple



Not everyone gets the same amount. You may get more if you live in a state that adds money to the federal SSI payment. On the other hand, you may get less if you have other income such as wages, pensions, or Social Security benefits. You may also get less if someone pays your household expenses. You may also get less if you live with a spouse and he or she has income.
Should I Apply for SSI?
To get a monthly payment you must:
Be at least age 65 OR be blind or disabled;

Have limited resources (the things you own);
