I got someone on the phone, was no help, she told me to download the form and drop off the birth certificate with medical card or ID. I asked her to stay on the phone so i make sure i download the correct form. She stated she can not and disconnected the phone. Amazing help from our government location in Waxahachie tx

Cant get anyone on the phone or get anyone to call me. I left my number in the drop box 2 weeks ago.

  3. Mar 2, 2022

I left a letter requesting a marriage license needed for survivors benefits. I left the letter and the original license as requested. About 10 days letter the license was returned to me. I assumed all was well. This week I again got a letter requesting the license saying the original request was not answered. I am at a total loss to understand why this was not added to my file. Does anyone there know their job or care? Now I must go through this again hoping someone can get it right. I guess if not done I will lose any benefit.

This is a government office and it’s still not open for appointments. You can’t get a live person on the phone. this is gross mismanagement of a public service office.

  5. Aug 13, 2021

This was a waste of time and cannot get anything accomplished for 2 weeks because the office is not open to get the documentation needed to complete school enrollment.

I would like to schedule an appointment and it seems impossible to do so! I just want to change my last name and since Covid it seems very difficult to do.

I wish it could be zero stars. COVID- 19 is not an excuse to lie and not do your job to the best of your ability. There is no reason for the incompetence. My son who is 18 years old had his last name changed (legally by courts) I have mailed information in to this office TWICE certified. There is a call center taking their calls- Go Figure. The first rep said mail birth certificates, school ID's, insurance card so I did. It was sent back in its original state, no letter attached stating the issue, just mailed back. So I then called back and spoke to another rep and was told to mail the court documents only and a medical record, so again I mailed that after about 30 days we got all the information back except this time they kept the paper application for the new card, my son called and was told by a rep it was processing and he would get it the end of the Month ( March) we waited. April 5th came and still no new SS card so we called and was told by a rep that the application was denied because the Medical Record was 2 years old. Here's the lie, the Medical Record has no date on it, the only date are the dates he received his immunizations. So we then ask for a Supervisor and are told that someone would call us back in 24 hours, well 24 hours passed and nothing so we call back and the rep said she would send the message to 2 supervisors and he would get a call that evening or the next day. That was 3 days ago. So I get to call in late to work so I can get my son situated with something so simple but I guess it's difficult

How are we supposed to set up appointments if we are never connected to a representative. It is very frustrating that the automatic answering machine tells you to press 2, to wait for the next available person and then after you press 2 it tell you it 'I don't know which mail box you are trying to reach, Goodbye'

  9. Feb 23, 2021

I have been trying to set up an appointment with my local office with little to no luck. It is beyond frustrating.

  10. Jan 27, 2021

Greetings to All, I have sent in my Dire need letter 5 times now via fax and still have not received a call back from the supervisor or case manager. I am beyond frustrated with the lack of help.
