I have tried calling several times and unable to get through. I am looking for a SSC replacement. I enter my personal information and get the response that 'We have suspended electronic access to your personal information'.
Thanks for having me wait on hold for 47 minutes and then disconnecting me. What amazing customer service. I kept hearing how the SS administration does 50,000 requests per week. So I looked up that data, and social security has 60,000 employees. That means that you do less than one request per week per person on average. Impressive. I know where we can save some taxpayer money.
Good morning to whom it may concern: I need to change my status from resident to citizen.
I was able to reach a person very quickly when I called and they told me what to do to help expedite my name change for my card which I need to do in order to get the REAL ID. Considering they are operating during a Pandemic, I found the process, very professional, prompt, and courteous.
I have waited long on calls, it keeps cutting off. I just want to make appointments for social security numbers.
I have been trying to talk to someone in SS for over 3 months. I have been told four times I would get a call back - once that it would be within 7 days - and have yet to get any call at all.
Im trying to make an appointment and I have been calling for like 2 weeks, i need to get my social security card as soon as possible. In the calls they just leave on waiting and never get me to a representative.
Today I spoke with Myriam out of the Social Security office in Reston VA. she is amazing!! She helped me find missing documents and schedule an appointment for new Social Security cards for me and my family. She personifies what customer service should always look like: patience, informative, helpful and empathetic. Thank you Myriam!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION LOST IN THE MAIL BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT YOU WON'T ACCEPT IN-PERSON APPOINTMENTS FOR ME TO CHANGE MY LAST NAME AND DON'T HAVE AN EASY WAY TO DO IT. IT IS 2021 AND I STILL HAVE TO JUMP THROUGH HOOPS TO CHANGE MY LAST NAME.
